Omar Hazineh is a strategic tourism leader with over 25 years of experience shaping national and regional tourism development, destination marketing, and public-private partnerships across the Middle East and Europe. His work spans tourism strategy formulation, destination branding and positioning, investment promotion, and institutional capacity-building, helping governments, development organizations, and private-sector operators build more competitive, sustainable tourism destinations.

Omar has advised on and led large-scale tourism and hospitality initiatives throughout his career, from national tourism branding campaigns and inbound tourism growth strategies to hotel repositioning and operational turnarounds. He has worked closely with government bodies, donor agencies, and international partners on policy reform, sector governance, and sustainable tourism models, with a particular focus on public- private collaboration and community-inclusive development. His experience spans destinations across Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the wider Middle East, as well as international engagements in Europe and East Africa.

Omar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, and an Executive MBA from City University, London. He is also a US Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumni.
