Dr Fares Khalid Alaboud is Regional Director for the Central and Eastern Regions at Alfaris International Travel and Tourism, where he leads commercial operations across corporate, group and leisure travel for one of the Kingdom’s established travel services providers. He is also the founder and CEO of RA3D, a Riyadh-based software and venture studio, which currently maintains several travel focused products in its portfolio.
He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from King’s College London and serves as an executive member of the Saudi National Committee for Artificial Intelligence, advising on applied AI and governance at national level.
His work sits at the meeting point of travel operations and technology, helping the industry translate rising Saudi inbound and outbound demand into systems that can actually serve it.
